Skinny Fiber: Is It Really All That Effective?

I have been overweight for years, and I am getting so tired of the way I feel about myself. After my two kids, I just could not get back to that “college girl” figure, and I have been battling my bulges ever since. I have literally tried everything, from diets to juices to meditation, and none of it seems to work. I have been doing a good bit of online research lately, something I curiously have not done before, and I have been seeing a lot of reviews on Skinny Fiber. Apparently, it’s supposed to knock out the fat by addressing all three causes of weight retention and gain. I’ve never taken something that goes after all three, so I figured I would give it a try. Let’s see what happens.

What It Does

First, the Skinny Fiber compound has properties that control appetite. Basically, if you can curb your hunger, then you can halt weight gain, which is half the battle. Also, the Skinny Fiber pill burns the fat that is already on your body. Through different methods, it will find and knock out lipid cells that contain toxins. When these cells are dealt with, the overall body is healthier. The last thing that Skinny Fiber can do is prevent fat from forming. With all of these protections in place, a light diet regimen should work, right?

What Am I Noticing?

Well, to be honest, I haven’t seen any weight loss at this point. Of course, I’ve only been going for about two weeks now, so I don’t think I was expecting to see any change. I heard that it takes about two months to see any kind of a serious difference. What I have noticed is that I am not eating nearly what I used to. I’m just not hungry the way I used to be. That alone should be able to help me with weight loss.

Buying Skinny Fiber

If you do want to buy Skinny Fiber, there are hundreds of places to find it. Sometimes, if you make an account with an online storefront, they might be able to lower your pricing if you buy in bulk. That’s what I did, and I was able to knock five bucks off the $59.95 price tag. That’s just one method you can use to save money. I have also seen it offered for cheap on eBay as well. Just make sure that you use a reputable source to make your purchase.

After Two Months

It’s been two months and I can’t believe it. I’ve lost 13 pounds! I’m not sure if it raised my metabolism or whatever; all I know is that it has taken me years to lose five or six, and then I go on Skinny Fiber, and now I lose 13. Whether or not Skinny Fiber was motivation and that’s all, I don’t care. I simply take Skinny Fiber for two months and I lose weight. Of course, a lot of people will be saying that Skinny Fiber is a scam, but I am living proof that this stuff works; I do believe that Skinny Fiber has truly changed my life, and I look foreword to losing even more weight in the future.

All the skeptics should try Skinny Fiber supplement. It definitely works well. I lost 10 pounds in 2 months, without doing any extra, just by taking the pills.

  2. Anne says:

Can I use Skinny Fibre if I am on blood pressure tablets as well?

    • Admin says:

      Thanks for your question.
I feel sure that your blood pressure tablets are a prescription medication supplied by your doctor.
So the question you are asking is definitely one for your doctor or health professional.
We cannot give medical advice here on this website.
I would encourage you to check with your doctor first to see what he says.

  3. Cheryl says:

Thought of trying it but decided to join weight watchers. The whole process is only a matter of controlling portions. Skinny Fiber makes you full so you’re not eating as much. Weight watchers is portion control and I lost 7.9 lbs in 4 weeks. I feel WW would be better since it doesn’t require taking any supplements. And fiber can wreak havoc on your intestines.

  4. Damaris springer says:

What is the correct dosage? Two capsules once a day or twice a day? Some places says to take 2 before meals making it plural. Tithe bottle says take two 30 minutes before. Would like to be clear before making a decision.
    Thank you!

    • Admin says:

Thanks for your question. We cannot give you specific dosage information.
This is medical advice so you should speak to your preferred health specialist.
The information on the bottle would seem to be the more appropriate one to choose.

How can I become a distributor.

    • Admin says:

Do a Google search for Skinny Fiber Distributor and you will get numerous options to follow.

  15. Janie says:

I’m so glad skinny fiber has helped you. Personally, it’s changed my life as well. That’s why I became a distributor. I’ve tried everything out there, all the latest diets and nothing helped me because I was always hungry. Well, I came across one of my friends posts on Facebook and she was going on and on about how she had lost 32pounds and 63inches total in 14 weeks by taking this thing called “Skinny Fiber.”

She didn’t change her eating habits and didn’t exercise other than chasing her kids around the house :). So I was like yeah right, just another scam for them to get you to buy their product and charge you outrageously.

But then I thought, well, what if it actually does help you lose weight? Being overweight has been exhausting and I was ready to kick this fat to the curb. So I researched for four months (yeah I was a big skeptic) and finally said, ” Ok, why not try it, what’s it gonna hurt? There’s a 30 day money back guarantee, so what do I have to lose?”

I started taking it the morning after it arrived. Immediately noticed that I wasn’t craving as many sweets (big time junk food-aholic) as usual. And I wasn’t as hungry as I normally would be. Maybe Skinny Fiber is actually working for me. Also, the second week I had weighed in and lost 9 pounds but the lost inches were much more noticeable.

I didn’t believe it until my Mom mentioned that it looked like my waist was getting smaller. I was like, yeah it’s the Skinny Fiber. It has even regulated my hormone levels – they were all over the place because I had just had a miscarriage a couple months prior.

Anyway, it has been 22 weeks since I started and I’ve lost 45 pounds. I’ve made it a goal of mine to help anyone and everyone who needs motivation or support.

    • Lauren Bailey says:

Janie, you mentioned a miscarriage prior, sorry to hear about your loss. Do you know if it is safe to take if you are trying to conceive?

  16. Mayra says:

Is Skinner fiber safe for nursing mothers?

  17. Laura says:

I had a gastric bypass in the past and have put on a few pounds and need some help losing the extra pounds. I am unable to exercise due to arthritis and a knee injury at this time. I am wondering would I be able to take this considering my stomach size?

    • Admin says:

This is a medical question and unfortunately we are not able to give that kind of advice.
It is a question you need to ask of your medical practitioner.

  18. Angela Blair says:

I am on Nexium for Gerd which has caused me to gain 25-30 lbs will skinny fiber still work for me?

    • Admin says:

I think you should speak to your medical practitioner as Nexium is a prescription only drug.
We cannot give medical advice here.

So far as Skinny Fiber is concerned it certainly works for some people like Mel who has recently commented that she lost 18 lbs in 12 weeks.

  19. Melissa says:

Just curious how long have you been using as of this date and what kind of results

    • Admin says:

Melissa you may wish to check out Mel’s comment just below. She indicated that she had lost 18 lbs and that it took about 12 weeks. By my calculation that is about 1 1/2lbs per week which is reasonable. Note also that she says you need to exercise and have a good diet as well

  20. Mel says:

I recently lost 18 pounds using Skinny Fiber – it took about 12 weeks. I used it to address the fact that I eat too much as it helps me to feel full before I eat a meal. If you want consistent weight loss you do need to exercise and eat a healthy diet.

  21. TORY says:

Seems to me …great that you all are not hungry but I bet that you have also cut out all the bad stuff you have been eating and are doing a bit of exercise. No magic pill will make you lose weight unless you are into doing everything necessary to help the progress. Just my thoughts.

  22. Jen says:

Once I reach my weight goal, do I still need to continue drinking it to maintain?

    • Admin says:

Skinny Fiber is not a liquid it is in capsule form. So you take the capsules (2 before meals) with a full glass of water.
So far as your question abut reaching goal weight I recommend you look at the replies to the same question which was answered earlier.

Again bear in mind that this is not medical advice. As always check with your medical or health professional for specific advice.
And check out the the Skinny Fiber Label for the details on the bottle.

  23. Bree says:

There are so many weight loss supplements and pills and shakes, and certain diets. I have known a few people that have tried these other weight loss supplements but once they got down to their goal weight they quit using the method they were taking and ended up gaining all that weight back and then some.

So does the same thing happen with skinny fiber? Like if you get down to your goal weight and then decide you really don’t want to take it every single day or at all anymore would all the weight you struggled for so long come pouring back on? Or would it actually stay away for good?

    • Admin says:

Thanks for your inquiry. It is a really good question. And yes there are many incidents of folk achieving a goal weight then putting it all back on and as you say some more.

While I cannot give you medical or professional dietary advice in many instances what seems to happen is people return to their old habits once they have reached their goal weight. They stop following their ‘diet routine’ and unfortunately they gradually gain the weight that they just lost.

If you follow the link to the Skinny Fiber site you will see that it works in part by making you feel full and therefore less hungry so you eat less. But it also notes that it needs to be combined with a healthy diet and exercise to be fully effective.

In summary I guess we can say that if you maintain these 2 factors – healthy diet and exercise – after you reach your goal weight – then there is a good chance you will stay there. If you return to previous habits and perhaps little exercise then some weight may go on again.

Again bear in mind that this is not medical advice. And the comments may not be applicable for everyone. So if you have any doubts at all please consult your health professional for detailed advice.

  24. AraniDevi says:

Can anyone tell me how long it lasts though?
So one bottle is $59.95, but is that one month? Two weeks?

    • Admin says:

      Arani thanks for your query.
The recommended dosage on the label is 2 capsules half an hour before eating taken with a whole glass of water.
This means 6 capsules per day if you work on 3 meals so for a $59.95 bottle containing 120 capsules you have a 20 day supply.

Hello!!! I am a distributor for Skinny Fiber and did MASSIVE amounts of research on it before I considered taking it— I had a dr that prescribed Adipex at one point in time without telling me about the side effects that it would cause… It made me feel like I was having a heart attack at 24. Needless to say, I started doing my homework before I put ANYTHING in my body!!! I have been on Skinny Fiber for 3 months now and have not seen a single negative side effect 😀 I am VERY happy about that!!!

  26. Mildred Sue Mollett says:

I am wondering if there are any side effects to Skinn Fiber.

    • Admin says:

The three main ingredients in Skinny Fiber Glucomannan, Caralluma Fimbrata and Cha de Bugre are all natural. Indications are that there are very few side effects if any for most people.
You can find more detailed information about each of these ingredients at WebMD where you can search for them by name.
There is more information about Glucomannan on this site. It is recommended by Dr Oz as well.

And you can see the Skinny Fiber Label Detail here. Click the image to enlarge the view.

Bear in mind that this is not medical advice and if you have any serious questions consult you medical practitioner.

    • Amanda Leask says:

There are no negative side effects aside from regular detox like symptoms such as headache stomach ache bloating etc. I personally never had these symptoms I peed a lot for the first week but have way more energy then I used to and I feel amazing. If you are looking to give it a shot feel free to do so. It really is one of the better products.

      • MommaMindy says:

Just a note of common sense; if there was such a thing as a magic weight loss supplement, there would be no over-weight people on this earth. Weight loss is just simple math; use more calories than you take in. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on these “magic” supplements.

        • Admin says:

Thank you for your comment. Certainly there is truth in what you say but sometimes it is not as simple as that.
Some people need a little assistance and I think this product might just be able to do that.
